I left the life I know with a one-way ticket in hand. I invite you to come along with me and experience the unfolding story of my journey to follow my dreams and live my authentic story… in all its flawed, scary, amazing and breathtaking reality.
Charlena, the pix of Ireland brought back lots of memories for us. I enjoyed the pix of Edinburgh and have two questions. Where is the cemetery located? Also, I noticed people on a terrace above an Edinburgh street and am wondering where that is. We walked up a winding and steep street from the Waverly to Highgate. Is it above that? We’d love to sit out and enjoy some coffee and take in the scenery from there. We’ll be back to view the Glasgow to Edinburgh pix soon! Thanks for sharing – Charlene & Jim
Thank you for visiting! The cemetery is off of Lothian Street and Princes Street, tucked behind St. John’s church on the corner of these two streets. The terrace is off of High Street near the George IV Bridge Street and overlooks Victoria Street, which if you follow down will bring you to the Grassmarket. If I remember right, you can access the terrace from High Street (the Royal Mile) where I took this photo, and you can get beverages at a couple restaurants that have terrace access as well and have dinner/drinks on a lovely Scottish evening. You have my email on the card so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you head that way. There are many more photos on the Flickr site, so click through the photo slideshows and it should take you to the site and you can see the rest.
